12kW Micro Hydro and Solar System Case Study: Scamadale

This off-grid scheme combines hydropower and solar with a battery powered mini grid.  The renewable sources are supported by a diesel generator.

The scheme is a standalone power station that links generation with consumption supplying all the energy requirements of the local property.

Scamadale is a 12kW micro hydro and solar system built by Proterra Energy in Lochaber.
