Balintombuie is a 50kW micro hydro scheme developed by Proterra Energy on the Allt Bail' an Tuim Bhuidhe river in Glenmoriston.

Alongside the feasibility, design and build of the scheme, Proterra Energy  was able to manage and source the funding for the entire project.

The scheme now provides the client and investors with annual revenue with Proterra Energy providing system management, maintenance and monitoring.
