Proterra Energy were contracted to carry out feasibility, design and install of micro hydro scheme in Glenelg on the West Coast of Scotland.

The scheme was sized at 50kW and upon commissioning supplies power to three cottages, an agricultural shed and a worskhop with the remaining power being exported to the grid.

The micro hydro scheme continues to perform well with Proterra Energy providing regular servicing and support.
