Skills for Growth Supports Proterra Energy Team
In 2024 Proterra Energy was fortunate to be selected by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) to take part in their Skills for Growth programme.
Over the course of 3 months or so we worked with SDS to look at how we could develop our team, to identify areas where we had strengths and areas we could add support. It was a very interesting process and, as well as new ideas, it provided feedback on some of our existing activities, like the training plans we had for our graduates, and how we were supporting our Apprentices.
The course completed in late 2024 but our relationship with SDS continues. The most recent example was the nomination of one of our Apprentices in the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards, finishing Runner Up. Moving forward we will continue our collaboration, taking part in an upcoming employer summit at the end of March 2025.
